Look how far We have come.

We first saw Discord as this dark, mysterious being that terrorized the ponies with chaos and trickery.

For some reason we latched on to this self-centered, all powerful destructive spirit of chaos.....  why?

Turned into

this...


Why was that such a thrill for some or even most of us?

Because Discord is someone that is not made out of sugar, even though he eats alot of junk food, but has his own idea's and expresses them differently from the rest of society.  It is also because of these reasons that he is set in stone.

Or talking to, no counseling, (that we know of), "it is our way or permanent imprisonment."  We knew that even though he was taking somethings too far, that it was not right to totally seal him away.

Now to make a long story shorter, the ponies, (Fluttershy), are not only helping him to calm down a bit, but also, are getting used to HIM, the way that he is.  that is very important not only for a society to thrive and be innovative, but to also make the people,or in this case ponies and other, know that individuality is cherished and unique per being.

So many wonderful mediums of artwork, stories, video's and now even a rumored "Raycord" game have come out of this one unique individual that wished to express himself outside the bounds of a shared monarchy.

We piss and cry art the slightest changes to his character, we laugh and roll when he makes trees and buildings fly away, our hearts twist and wane when he gets sick or eyes start to fill with tears.  We want him to be loved and draw, write and talk about shipping, his past, who he is.  So Mysterious, what is he going to do next?  Even....  Sexy?....  *Ahem*

Why?

because, he is the side of us that wishes to be loose and expressive, to say and do what we want no matter the consequences.  Being brave and standing for your voice.  he is not perfect, he looks like a jigsaw puzzle, he is different from others, strange, weird, repellent.  

He is us...  And whom we wish to be, ( just on a safer, not illegal level).

Where is Discord going to go next?  I think fans have an Idea.  Please keep it coming...  Please feed the world your idea's and maybe Senpai will notice you.
